Fastway

Fastway (debut)

Great bluesy, hard rock band with Motorhead's Fast Eddie Clarke. They opened for Rush at the Garden which might not have been the right crowd for them.

Fight War of Words
I went to the very first War of Words show to kick off the tour. It was a blast. I went backstage to hang with Rob Halford and the rest of Fight. The third time I saw them was with guitarist, Mark Chaussee (before Small Deadly Space came out), who I thought was not worthy to be on stage with Halford. Even I'm better than he is and that's not saying much. He was sloppy and made obvious mistakes. But I couldn't care less. It was the Metal God and he was BRILLIANT as usual.

Firm, The
(Paul Rogers/Jimmy Page)"
The Firm
It was very cool seeing two rock legends perform. Paul Rogers' voice was very strong.

Fist ????
Saw them at the Palladium as an opening act. I recall they were pretty good, but I don't remember much else.

Flame ????
Weak opening act for Nektar at the Palladium.

FM Black Noise
Outstanding trio from Canada who supported another trio from Canada, Rush. FM's Black Noise record is outstanding progressive rock and they performed brilliantly.

Foghat Stone Blue

Pretty solid, hard rocking show. They opened for Pat Travers who was the reason I was there.

Foghat ???? 1988/89

I think only the drummer was from the original line-up. They opened for Nazareth who were supporting Cinema. Decent show, but not as good as when I saw them on the Stone Blue tour.

Foreigner 4

This was the tour supporting their smash release with Juke Box Hero. It was fun but just never reached that next level. No extended or different guitar solos. It was like listening to a juke box. They were tight, but nothing made it extra special. They were on, but it just didn't do it for me.

Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush Juggernaut
Hot, amazing guitar work. Very tight band. They opened for Saxon with Riot playing before them.

Frehley's Comet ????

This was around 1987 or 1988. Fun show headlining the Beacon Theater. Played some classic Kiss.
