From his guitar ripping historical performance at Woodstock with Ten Years After, I had to take advantage of seeing this man live when I finally had the chance. It was 1986 and he had just release "Detroit Diesel" which is pretty good, but didn't have the ripping I expected. However, live, the man tore it up big time. |

Here's what one of my best friends wrote me reminding me of this show, "You saw the Voice Of America tour when he got political and heavier. I remember you said he was okay and that you didnt hate it." :) Back then I really couldn't stand Springsteen and my buddy was a huge fan of the Boss; thus a fan of Little Steven. I remeber when he played the album "Voice of America" for me, I gave it an unconventional review, "hey this doesn't suck" and I remember us having a big laugh. |
