The first leg of the tour was in small intimate theatres (I saw it at the Capital Theatre in Passaic NJ - Rhoads was AMAZING!) then the second leg of the tour was in arenas; ie. Nassau Colliseum. These were absolutely incredible shows.

Though the passing of Randy Rhoads was absolutely tragic and hit the metal community very hard, it did not stop the tour. Brad Gillis did a wonderful job filling in and the concert was awesome. Veteran Don Airey (Rainbow) played keys in a tower on a very cool stage set. |

I was very fortunate to be living in New York where Ozzy decided to do an all Sabbath show in a club which resulted in the live album, Speak of the Devil. It was a very rocking classic night. |
