From 2005 to 2012, I worked at Metal God Entertainment in many capacities. Aside from being in charge of all tech, project management on releases, graphics duties, editing, and then some, there were some perks like being on my old home turf in NY and seeing my friends, Roy Z, Mike Davis, Bobby Jarzombek, Metal Mike Chlasciak and Rob Halford on stage at Madison Square Garden on December 1, 2010.
It was a proud moment for me seeing my graphics on stage behind the band. I redesigned the traditional Halford logo making it 3 dimensional and metallic. I also created the Made of Metal album cover using a screenshot from the animated video. I then simply added a new Made of Metal logo I designed as well as adding the Halford logo. Some lighting and coloring and your have the Made of Metal album cover. The animator of the video I lifted the car from received credit for the album cover design.
This time was a special thrill because I was also able to bring my wife and kids backstage at the greatest arena in world to meet the band. Using brilliant art provided by master artist Marc Sasso, I created the passes for the tour.
I also literally typed and assembled the 20 page Itinerary for the tour. Part of my duties was also assisting in coordinating the multitude of parties involved in a big tour like this.
