11 years ago, Metal God Ent. closed and I was out of work. Zero notice. Zero severance. Then at 50 years old, and facing obvious ageism in the job market I had to reinvent myself. I tend to just write when in contemplation and I wrote down, “A setback is only a starting point for refinement or reinvention. Then get excited and move forward.” I took my own advice, busted my ass, and built a business that entertains 2 million people annually. It’s never too late to do something you love.
